First meeting of G7 Heads of State and Government under the Italian Presidency to be held on February 24th. The discussion will focus on support to Ukraine.

On February 24th, on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, will chair a video-conference meeting of the G7 Heads of State and Government, the first under the Italian Presidency.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is also expected to join.

A joint declaration will be adopted at the end of the meeting.
